PRIME IS A FAMILY AND PRIME IS A LIGHT

WE ARE A COLLECTIVE OF RWANDAN CANADIAN PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS WHO CREATED A SAFE PLATFORM FOR OTHER ARTISTS TO SHOWCASE THEIR EXCELLENCE.

PRIME LUMINISCE IS AN IDEA BIRTHED OUT OF THE GAP OBSERVED BY THE RWANDAN DIASPORA IN CANADA, WHO LACKED SPACE FOR THEIR VOICES WHILE ABROAD.

TO MEET THE NEED, ON MARCH 19, 2023, OUR TEAM LAUNCHED ‘PRIME SUNDAY’, AN EVENT THAT CREATED A PLATFORM WITH A BROAD AUDIENCE WHERE ARTISTS WERE SEEN AND HEARD. SINCE THAT NIGHT, THE SKY HAS NOT BEEN THE LIMIT.

OUR AIM IS TO INSPIRE PRIDE WITHIN THE RWANDAN DIASPORA THROUGH INTERGENERATIONAL CULTURAL EXCHANGE AND BUILD A STRONGER BOND WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH ALL FORMS OF ART.

TO ILLUMINATE, EMPOWER AND ELEVATE RWANDAN CANADIAN ARTISTS BY CELEBRATING THEIR TALENTS THROUGH DIVERSE ARTISTIC EXPRESSIONS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.

WE INTEND TO CREATE A LONG STANDING PLATFORM FOR POSTERITY BY FOSTERING A SENSE OF PRIDE AND SELF-WORTHINESS IN RWANDAN DIASPORA THROUGH INTER GENERATIONAL CULTURAL EXCHANGE AND ART.
